Use? Needle points to spawnpoint

The compass is a Minecraft tool, whose needle points towards the player's spawn point, as opposed to North. (North can instead be found by the clouds, as they always drift north.)

Compasses do not work inside The Nether, instead, the needle flails wildly, as the player's spawn point does not exist inside of The Nether. However, players have suggested that they instead point towards the portal, but this will not be possible if a player has multiple portals in The Nether.

[edit] Created By

Similar to the watch, a compass is created by placing redstone dust in the center of a 3x3 crafting square. Iron ingots are then placed to the top, bottom, left and right next to the redstone to create a compass.
