Oak Sapling Sprite
Oak Saplings are a natural item found in the game from destroyed Oak Leaves, which can be broken with anything, or they will wither away if all the wood of a tree is removed. Oak Saplings can not be crafted, any they also can no be crafted into anything. Oak Saplings are used to plant Oak Trees, and have a chance of growing if there is a light source and sufficient room to grow. A trick to get bigger trees is to place a normal block on all sides and then raise it by one. This requires eight blocks, but it is well worth it as you can get the blocks back afterwards. Huge trees will result from this because of the amount of room you allow the tree to grow in. Saplings can also be used to heat or cook items in a furnace.
Oak Saplings are blocks with Opacity. Blocks with Opacity are not "fully complete" blocks or have transparency. For some of these blocks, it may not be possible to place other types of blocks directly onto them.
